01What can I repair with Second Life?
Start with wooden tables, chairs, cabinets and shelves. Show the full piece in good light and describe the wear. Structural concerns, valuable antiques and unknown finishes may need an in-person professional.
02What happens after I upload a photo?
A clear photo helps document the piece and the area you want to repair. Explore a sample assessment to see the questions, materials and checklist that make up a repair plan.
03Do I need to subscribe to try it?
No. Explorer is free. Open a sample repair, save its plan and follow the checklist at your own pace. No card is needed.
04Where do my photos and plans go?
Photos stay in your browser. Saved plans and checklist progress stay on this device. Download a text copy of a plan whenever you want to keep a backup.
05Can I trust every repair recommendation?
A photo cannot reveal hidden damage or prove that furniture is safe. AI guidance can be wrong. Confirm the material and finish, follow product instructions and stop if the plan does not match what you see. A professional can inspect stability and structural damage in person.
06Can I recover a removed plan?
Yes. Open Recently removed in your repair library and choose Restore. The plan returns with its saved checklist progress. Guest storage is local to this device. You can download a text backup of any active plan.
